What is a Managed AI Partnership?
An ongoing working relationship with TESS Tech AI to manage, maintain and improve the AI system covered by your agreement. We agree priorities and responsibilities so the technology stays connected to your business needs. The twelve-month partnership is a mandatory part of the signed agreement you make before the paid business review.
Who is this service designed for?
Businesses with AI tools that need ongoing management and practical improvements. The partnership is never sold on its own: it follows the free introductory phone call, the signed agreement, the business review and implementation. Scope and fee depend on the systems and the work involved.
What does the $1,500 monthly fee include?
The starting fee of $1,500 CAD includes up to 10 hours of services each month for the AI tools covered by your agreement. It is a fixed monthly fee, not unlimited service. Third-party charges and separately approved additional work are extra.
How can the 10 monthly hours be used?
Flexibly across management, maintenance, troubleshooting, training, optimization and incremental development of your existing system. There is no fixed maintenance/development split. Customer-facing timesheets are not part of the service.
Do unused hours carry forward?
No. Unused monthly hours do not carry forward or accumulate for future work. Each month has its own allowance of up to 10 hours.
What if I don't need all 10 hours?
The fixed monthly fee remains the same regardless of actual usage. Using fewer hours does not reduce the fee, and unused hours do not carry forward.
Can TTA develop new bots or workflows within my existing system?
Yes, where they are incremental additions to what your agreement already covers and fit within the available monthly allowance. A separate new application, unrelated project or external platform implementation is scoped and priced separately.
What happens if work exceeds the 10-hour monthly allowance?
Additional work requires your approval of the scope and cost before it starts. Depending on the work, we can quote $175 CAD per hour, prepaid, or a fixed project price. Work beyond the allowance is not automatically included.
Are new apps, software or external AI platforms included?
No. Standalone new apps or software, unrelated projects, and implementation of separate new external AI platforms are outside the monthly allowance. The entire separate project is quoted and approved separately; included hours do not offset its price.
Are third-party AI subscriptions and licences included?
No. Third-party software, subscriptions, licences and AI usage charges are separate from the partnership fee. We clarify relevant external costs as part of agreeing the work.
How does the twelve-month commitment and annual payment option work?
The agreement has a twelve-month term, with monthly fees billed in advance. At the starting rate, annual prepayment is $16,200 CAD before taxes, a 10% discount from the $18,000 CAD annual base. Final payment arrangements are set out in your agreement.
What happens at the end of the agreement?
Before the term ends, we discuss renewal or a handover. Any renewal, access or transition arrangements follow the terms of your agreement. You keep your accounts and data. We never sell or share your information with other clients or third parties. Your AI tools handle it under their providers' terms, and we set them up to protect it.
